Hello,
I've been reading up a bit about the CTN rate on this board as I will be shipping to RTC Great Lakes in November. My question is, as a complete newbie to network security and the like, what are my chances of actually passing the A and C schools? I have a strong work ethic and studying and school work has never been an issue for me, but I really have no experience with networks or network security. Should I try to switch rates before I ship or is it possible with lots of studying to actually pass the school? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

If you really focus on your work and pay attention to what you're doing, you should be fine. The A school is extremely basic, and the C school isn't much more difficult. The hardest part will be subnetting, but the instructors will show you easy ways to do it, and if you don't get it, just ask questions because they have ways to re-explain something in a different way if you don't get it the first time. Good luck.
