BUD/S drop here going to IT "A" school in a few weeks. what boooks/sites should i be reading up on?

They will provide you with the books you need at A school. But if you want to get a leg up on the material look at the IT3 bib on the Navy Advancement Website. You might not have access to the secret material yet, but you can go ahead and get the commercial refs. I graduated April of 07 and the books pretty much provided you with all you need to know to pass the tests. But its never to early to prepare for the exams. Best of luck at Corry Station.

Hi, I am currently a FMF Corpsman. Im thinking about cross rating to IT. I am (prior to NAVY)a Database Programmer(7yrs). If cross rate, will I be able to create/Mantain Software and/or Databases. Can anybody orient me before I make any decision?
