Your husband should call ahead and check in with his next unit to find out their official policy. If they allow you to live on the economy (which I think they do) they will still require a release from government housing form to be filled out. Your husband should be able to print that form from a work computer. I believe that the form is actually an "application for government housing" and you just check the box requesting to live on the economy and the local housing officer signs it. For the official word you need to talk to his next unit.

Perhaps you should check with your sponsor, I bet they can give you the correct information.

I left Cape May this past year. I had BAH...It was not an issue for me. I will never live in housing...aside from a bad housing experience in NC, there are too many people in your business...
