we rent off of hwy 24 outside of morehead city, about a 15 minute drive to the base. the best thing you could do is a search for rental homes in the "crystal coast" and look for the annual rental links. very reasonably priced.

most pople live off the economy but you can live on Cherry Point Marine base.(privatized new housing) I do not know when you are movin...but I do have a house rental in Newport
