I am reporting to Sec Key West shortly and was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what kind of base housing they have for a single e-4. Ill be a reservist on ADSWAC orders for one year. Just not sure what to expect as far as size, furnished/unfurnished, etc. Thanks so much!
Not sure about onbase housing but when my brother was on the Padre, WPB, he lived alone in a large apartment complex just east of the Key West airport. It was a nice place from what I saw. Nice pool too. It was an unfurnished apt.
Enjoy Key West. I worked in the Upper Keys 85-01 and enjoyed it a lot.

The base housing for bachelor's is located on Sigsby. They are 2 bedroom townhouses that are usually shared with a roomate. They're ok... not too nice but not hideous either! Hope this helps!
I Was A Geo Bach. down there for two years. The BQ I was supposed to move into got pummeled by Hurricane Wilma. So I bought an RV. They have a decent Park right on the water. Pretty much paid for itself. Not for everybody, but I didn't have to deal with housing.
