HEAVEN!!!!
No seriously! I was stationed there from 99-02 and ranks the top of my list. I really enjoyed it there. You get the best of both world's the beach and the country. If you enjoy hunting or fishing you will love it. It is not to built up and you have Jacksonville, Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington right down the road. You are only a ferry ride to Cape Hatteras and Cape Lookout. If I was able to go back my bags would be packed tomorrow. |
