Does anybody have any information on apartments or houses for rent in the Portsmouth area that will allow one small and one large dog? Thank you.

I know nothing about them, but know of some CG families that live in the Patriot's Park Apartments.

Those are the only ones in Portsmouth I've really heard about from Coasties. A lot of people opt to live in Dover, NH.

Sagamore Apartments allow small and large dogs.

Only about 10 mins from Station Portsmouth Harbor which is actually in New Castle, NH.

If you are going to a cutter, they moor up at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard which may end up being about a 20 minute drive or less from those apartments.

Obviously I am VERY bored tonight....here's a google earth photo with green pins marking all the places we have mentioned.

White Cedars and Patriot's Park are both just off one of the major roads through Portsmouth called Lafayette Rd.

I would go w/ Sagamore, great location, close to downtown. You can also check http://www.seacoastonline.com (Portsmouth Herald website) or http://www.fosters.com (Dover NH newspaper)

Talk about a brutal commute, Portsmouth VA to Portsmouth NH. I wouldn't want to pay for that gas! Wink

Lived in White Cedars also (90-93). No problems then..........

At that time, the cutters tied up at the Station - at the pier seen in 21yrs's first picture. What a view that was! Pier was condemened shortly after I left and the Cutters moved over to the navy base.
