I will have approximately 7 months left on the date of my DEROS (currently deployed). Let's say I magically come upon orders to a CONUS location (currently stationed OCONUS). Is it possible for me to extend my contract in order to PCS to the CONUS site on the orders? How long do I have to have in service in order to achieve this?

The answer depends on your current ETS date - go talk to your Battalion or Brigade Career Counselor.
