Im currently in my window to reenlist. I talked to the reenlistment NCO and was told for 5 years I would get 10000. I was also told that due to being on orders to deploy there are no options available. No Airborne school or duty station of choice. Im also an E4 in A zone. My question is other E4 who recently reenlisted got 16 for 6 and had the same time remaining that I do and a PFC that talked to retention earlier the same day got Airborne. Is this just them trying to get me to go for the very least or is there truth to this.
Your Career Counselor does not hide things from Soldiers ... this is not recruiting.
You cannot get a school or an assignment because these are not projected out that far. (Redeployment plus 90 days is more than 15 months away).
