I vaguely remember them stopping selection in the sumer for a few years due to heat issues, does this sound right?

Yeah SFAS was stopped during the summer for a while. My class was the first summer class in a couple years the cadre was saying at the time... This was class 007-05 June '05.

Apparently it has been over 100 a couple days this week and a couple last as well.

At Sage it was over 100 for damn near 2 weeks straight and there were a couple of us who thought the cadre were gonna call a stop to our field problem because of the heat and the "G's" not wanting to participate. It was damned HOT.
