They call themselves "rangers" which in and of itself is certainly acceptable. But they used to call themselves "airborne rangers" and apparently some of them even wore the Ranger tab at some point.
It appears that those issues have been resolved, and the uniforms no longer have the tab. Furthermore, I'm sure they perform a necessary role and I admire them for volunteering.
I should have left it at that, but I didn't. My bad, but for some reason this still gets under my skin - and I'm not even Ranger qualified!
Anyway, my apologies to the Rangers here for not exercising better judgment. Won't happen again.
That dude; LRSDRANGER schit don't add up. Never been to the school for boys and how can you be in the Coast Guard and Army at the same time. Nice collection of CG, AF Reserve and Army ribbons too.

Coast Guard Auxillary. And he may have been MOSQ from the National Guard Infantry MOS program for prior service soldiers reclassing.
Exactly it, I went 13F originally. Did SMP for two of those years, dropped out of school, had a break in service, reenlisted after 9/11 with a reclass to 11B in a LRSD. Didnt do much time there. I have been moving around quite a bit because of my civilian occupation. (I work for and airline) If the my screen name is offensive I am willing to switch it as I have never been to Ranger School and didnt serve in the 75th or the RTB. I reclassed once more to 15P when I finally had enough seniority to move back home. I am in the USCG Aux and have been for a while. I enlisted in the USAF Reserves in november and will be going to tech school in June, so I will have yet another job to learn. If there is any other questions I am more than willing to answer any. I dont know if I am still listed in AKO, but I do have an AF.mil account now if you would like to contact me there...
