I have a friend in the 82nd airborne, stationed by Juarez, Mexico, who passed training just a few months ago. When I told him I had option 40, he said a lot of the "hard asses" in his unit that went to RIP were kicked out in a few days. He did not say if they were offered a chance to try again or if they gave up. I was just wondering what you men though got the most men kicked out of RIP. I have memorized the ranger creed and I am learning a lot of the history. I was just wondering what you guys thought got these men thrown out so quickly.
