Checking out of the net for a week or so. My PSA is nearly 6, so the prostate's gotta go.
Surgery is scheduled for 0800 tomorrow.
I saw the catheter today. That was not good.

Good luck and don't pass on the meds.
No need to tough it out and take the pain.
I feel for you.

Checking Back In-
My urologist says that he got everything...but he said that 2 years ago, so who knows.
Judge Stump, you are correct, I have a renewed appreciation for narcotics and those who administer them.
So, other than I still have a catheter hanging out of me, I'm good.

Good to see you back.
Hopefully this is it for you.
Have fun when they take the catheter out.

Actually it is not so bad.
The one that is a doozy is if you ever have open heart surgery and they get up on your bed to jerk those tubes out.

Just had mine taken out on 8-27. Had robotic surgery. Still have the cat in, can't wait to get this pain in the neck out. Your right about the med's, they had to engrain it in my skull not to tough it out, because it hinders recovery. The robotic worked well, and I should have all my of functions.

Brothers, do not overlook you PSA, especially if you are in your 50s or 40s if you have a family history of the Cancer.
