Ok, I personnally have not had the chance to make it to Korea, even though they wanted me to go to receive my SSG/E-6. But, I know there are some good pictures out there of the DMZ, I hope. Wink

It's an M60A3 to be exact. All 100 percent homogenious steel (this is not a good thing). They wen't to M-1's in the early 90's in the ROK. We used to have a good time thumping on the turret wall and laughing about our survivability (or lack thereof). The sights were good but the armor protection was poor.

This is an excellent site run by Don Lopez a Manchu warrior that served in 1967-68. I have contributed to this site and I encourage that everyone that reads this post, please visit, sign the guest book and contribute your stories and pictures.

Is that the entrance at the Southern Barrier Fence? The Imjin Scout site used to be a very active site, what happened with all the DMZ vets?

JSA next to the Ax Murder tree.

The Chinese Tunnel

Arms Room Guard. They lock you in to protect it. No bathroom, no weapon, no fire escape. Never understood it.

Bridge of No Return. N. Korea is on the other side.

Sorry for not answering sooner! Guard Post 128 is the entrance that leads into the DMZ and the talk site Panmunjom. There are other roads that lead into the DMZ but this one is the only one thats allows tour buses to come in and see Panmunjom!
