Hello for my military history class I am doing an interview of a soldier, it doesn't matter if they are active or retired. If you have the time and wouldn't mind answering a few questions please read on.
.Name?
.What branch of service did you serve in? Why did you select that branch of service?
.Years of service?
.Why did you enlist?
.Describe basic training? What was it like? How tough was it?
.What were some of the highlights of your service?
.What were some of the low lights of your service?
.How was your life changed? What happened after your military service?
.Would you recommend military service? Why or why not?
The more you can write the better, these questions are just guidelines, if you have any interesting stories please include them. Thank you for helping me and I am glad that I can tell your story. Their is no one I respect and look up to more than American soldiers today and in the past.
