Title says all. Something to take a break to while I'm on my downtime here. A little about me - I have been deployed for nearly a year and have several more months to go. Work 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week so I have plenty of time to check my email!
I have no preference and would like to exchange emails to pass time and get my mind off work. Thanks!

i was just wondering how old you intended your "penpal" to be...? i have been thinking for a while now, and finally thought about it when i was close to my computer; there must be numerous soldiers dying for me that never received a letter from anyone. when i think about it, it makes me want to cry. so, recently, i have been searching for a soldier with nobody "back home" to voice my true appreciation to. please message me back if you are interested.
dear army soldier. i am a combat veteran of vietnam and thought i might give you a shout. i would first of all like to say to you and all who are in iraq and afghanistan that we really thank you guy's and gal's. for keeping us safe at home. you people are doing a great job of it and i can tell you that the majority of us "civilians " back you guy's up 110%. i know sometimes it might seem like you are out there all alone, but i would tell you that we are with you every day and every night, no-matter where you are over there. you guy's are always on my mind and i wish you to be safe and you should always know that you are thought of.
i just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and wanted to wish you home safely and well. just keep your head up and if you believe in God-pray, prayer helps and soothes the soul. read some psalms and proverbs they should be useful in a time when you need it the most. God works in mysterious ways. you are in my prayers soldier as is all our united states troops. thanks again. recently new PVT. S
I will answer any message from a service man or woman. I've been doing it for three years. I have a son in the army now. I know a little of what makes you tick. Just send a message.
