Remember this video of Dick Cheney some 9 years before the Iraq War predicting the calamities we face today?...

Well,

In his defense, we as in the US, thought we could control all of that at this point in time. It was as Cheney said, and would have always been like that. I am sure that new video was played time and time again before invading Iraq.

Quite a thought after over 4,000 of our troops dead, thousands more injuried for life. Countless generations of innocents genocided?

And just think, we went in there because Saddam was taking too many innocent lives and torturing people!

Isn't it a shame the Third Reich also had the same endeavors, and yet the same HARD LUCK??

Cheney's words must be ringing in his ears as he now thirsts to kill more troops fighting a country named Iran that's not already defeated and wallowing in no-fly-zones!

You really make bad comparisons, and I don't think genocided is a word in the context that you use it in.

All of what Cheney said was always planned upon, but probably not to the extent in which we found ourselves after the initial invasion. And especially after the whole terrorist world was ready to mobilize against us, since we invaded Afghanistan, and then Iraq.

Genocided is not the word? People who especially love wars they don't fight in, should be born in Iraq. Then the word would be more than appropriate. In fact, it would be understated.

Cheney predicted the situation today. Here's another person who did the same thing. In other words, THERE IS NO EXCUSE! But members of the Third Reich couldn't blush either!...

President Bush, Senior, from his memoirs:
Trying to eliminate Saddam ...would have incurred incalculable human and political costs. We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad, and, in effect, rule Iraq.

Going in and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the UN's mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response to aggression that we hoped to establish.

Had we gone the invasion route, the US could conceivably still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile land.

Pretty poor taste to mention our dead in a Nazi framework. This administration for all it's faults is a far cry from that, for which one might be grateful.

My waves are not "negative." My waves were practiced by this country till the nation turned oddball 8 years ago. If the country follows it, it can withstand whole World Wars and maintain its constitution, its economy and its military. Catch the wave and have even the common sense of the Communists. They're not defending their freedom where we are told we need to defend ours.

Its now like a woman standing on a stool and screaming not because of a mouse, but because of a defeated dictator.

If this administration did made a mistake, it's trying to make amends by attacking Iran.

But tell us about the security principles of the Third Reich, and compare it to the security principles of the current administration. As they piled up principle after principle, did you congratulate them for making us further in principle from brutal regimes we had to fight in history? Why just make the statement. Show us how dis-similar we are now.

Yes or no: did the Third Reich also start wars in order to save innocent lives and wound up taking much more? Did they long ago already have secret courts trials, intrusive government and used torture? Remember, we went into Vietnam to defend our freedoms, and also to make sure we don't have to fight enemies here.

What has happened all these years since after we lost that war?

Sir,

The video is there on the first post. Then on the fifth post is a warning by George Bush Sr. against going into Iraq.

Compare the two statements there and show us what they said that actually did not follow through.

If my "waves" were accepted our troops would have robot probes to enter in and kill insurgents instead of using that money to fund Halliburton executives. This is the most expensive war ever! That's a positive, and not a "negative."

The troops would not struggle to finally prove in all global history that already defeated dictators are invincible. My waves would have prevented lots of beheadings. That's a positive.

I wouldn't try to prove the invincibility of defeated entities even with corpses in mortuaries, nor do I want to prove that with already defeated dictators. Corpses in mortuaries are invincible. The reason that is so is because no one can ever score a victory over them. Why then spend 3 to 7 trillion dollars to prove this with defeated countries when I can just tell someone?

Why claim we must torture so that we can gain vital information that can save innocent lives when we can neither hear nor understand the vital information that Saddam didn't cause 911, but Osama did??

My waves would say, "If you see a defeated dictator in no-fly-zones playing with his rubber-ducky, and he scares you, go to the drug store and spend a couple hundred dollars on anti-paranoia medicine. If you don't, a mere 19 hijackers will cause you to ravage the constitution years after we all mushed each other for winning a major world war with less money and without emulating the security principles from dangerous regimes.

LOL! The very fact that you have not been put into a cattle car or stood up against a wall is the best illustration of the huge gulf between the nazis and us now.

Sure, mistakes have been made, and some crimes probably committed, but don't we read about them or see it on the tube? Do you actually think that is a characteristic of a totalitarian state?

Pre-emptive war! Deal with countries or tragedies before they commit crimes. Why wait till the last minute? Why wait as the principles of a totalitarian state are being set up till it actually happens?

I'm not a Jew, but still, why go in the direction the Third Reich did because we want to spend trillions of dollars to score victories against already defeated countries? When will you warn us that our security principles are even headed that way toward the Third Reich's?

Remember the absurdities, including allowing a president to claim to be above the Constitution because he failed to protect us at 911. If Obama wins the presidency, I don't know why he would want to protect us.

Still, compare the security principles of the Third Reich and show us what direction we have been taking in the last 8 years since that mighty document, the Constitution, that protected us over 200 years can't defend us against hijackers.

Now we're bringing in torture and arguing that's not what we're doing. The administration is claiming that waterboarding is not torture. They keep us in daily turmoil on easy subjects, struggling to confuse us. This debate is solved easily by waterboarding those who support it.

If your kids are keeping secrets from you, you're not gonna spank them are ya? That's child abuse! Why not waterboard them? If you wanna do that, please tell me where you live. I would have my cellphone ready and the insurmountable arguments about whether or not waterboarding is torture would be solved.

Spanking is not child abuse. I wouldn't spank my kid for lying or keeping little secrets, but they would get grounded for a long time. I would spank 'em if they kept doing it though.

Bush based most of his elections on the idea of how evil it is to flip-flop. The comment of Dick Cheney in the originating post is just one of his major flip-flops. Publicly announcing he will not go after Osama, over the graves of more than 4,000 of our Bad Boys is another.

Flip-flopping is clearly actually not an issue with Bush, for he has done it many times. The only thing he has not flipped upon is his global world views and loyalties handed down to him from his ancestors.

Is Cheney like you? He predicted the problems that would come if a race of abandoned detainment camp psychiatrists get scared of a defeated dictator. It comes to pass exactly. These same psychos from the Antichrist then laugh at us claiming we fear defeated dictators.

If Cheney is psychic and knew it would all come to this, he is more entitled to the hangman's noose.

Your fellow religionists posted boldly on the internet, after supporting the idea that our soldiers must die to defend our freedoms, that ALL NON-CATHOLICS MUST DIE!

Did you know posters would accept the freedom to believe your conspiracy exists against your wishes as you put our Bad Boys in harms way to defend that freedom you don't like?...

By the way, did you see the bold death threats against billions of people by the war-supporters?

Hard to break it to the men and women in harm's way that these things are coming, huh?

If not, you should be exercising your freedom and sniffing glue!
