I am looking for those members who have direct history of aircraft nose art in the military and the story behind that art work. WWII, Korea and Vietnam Wars. I would like to publish a book with more than just the photos of the aircraft, but why that aircraft had a specific picture or person painted on it. Preserve a part of your history or your parent’s history. All contributors to be recognized in print once I get it published. Please feel free to contact me, Mark Benkelmann, ETCS, USCG (Retired) atMBENKELMANN@LYCOS.COM
Not just the photo, but the person(s) behind it. Save the history before it is lost!
