Blue represents the sky, silver represents the clouds.
Strike my last. The colors vary depending. As mentioned belong, ultramarine blue and gold show in many logos. But on the shield we also have blue and silver. The blue represents the sky and silver represents the metal of our aircraft.

Its not as easy as you think. Blue represents the tears our of our airmans wives/husbands have spent alone while there out defending our country. The white is the nirvana of the offices where personnel hobble in droves.
