I have a mole on my lower back and one on my neck. I also have an odd lump on the left side of my left knee. I have seen medical concerning the moles, and they were saying that it's nothing to worry about, even after I mentioned that I have a family history of melanoma.

As for the lump on my knee, I honestly don't know what to make of it. It's fairly symmetric, but it's hard, similar to a calcium deposit.

Would I have to make a general appointment with medical or can I go specifically to the dermatology department at Balboa NMC? As for the lump, is there anything I should be suspicious about?
