I recently found out about the MSC/IPP program in the Navy. I'm interested in completeing a degree in public health or in healthcare admin. I have found a few programs that I could do while on active duty, so I'm weighing my options between starting the masters degree program and applying for the IPP. Do I have a better chance either way of getting picked up for a commision? Also what is the day-to-day work like?

I realize this is about two months after you asked your question. Whatever. Honestly I would simply recommend you pick up the phone and start making phone calls. I have never looked at the application for that program so I don't know who you should be telephoning exactly, but it's always best to get it straight from the horses mouth.
