I was just told that I may have Lupus, and I was wondering if any other Sailors who served with me during Desert Shield/Storm aboard the USS Ranger CV-61 had also been diagnosed and how many?
Lupus has been linked to Gulf War Syndrome.
I started having health problems soon after leaving the Navy in July 1992.

I was on the Ranger during Desert Shield/Storm. I would be surprised if the VA would consider your condition related to Gulf War Syndrome if you where not on the ground. The ship did not enter port until after the hostilities had ceased and then to the UAE, not Iraq. I wish you all the best for a successful treatment.
