I am prior service Navy 97-02 HM 8404,8483,8446. I am currently in the AirForce reserves IRR until June of this year. I am 36 yr's old. I am interested in going back into the Navy active duty. Does anyone know what my options are at this time. I would like to do 15 more years and retire at 52. I really enjoed the Navy and had to get out at the time for family reasons.
Thanks !!

Go to your local recruiter. You have to be able to complete 20 years active duty by age 55 of which you would since you had prior active duty Navy and Air Force. I was a NAVET and had 8 years active when I returned in 84(also had 6 years of reserve duty). I stayed another 17 years of ACTIVE DUTY which was great for retirement and active duty pay as well. My original Pay Entry Base Datewent backto the day I jpoined the reserves back in 70 since I had a continual contract with the Navy without any break of service contract.
