ive been having on-and-off problems with my back lately and when I was at TSC GLakes (about 3 months ago) i got x-rays done and the doc said I have 6 lumbar vertebre, he described this to me as being similar to being born with a "sixth finger". I haven't been back since in pensacola because I feel there is a possibility of a discharge, could this happen?

Probably not but only the doc can tell you that. I would have it re-evaulate and state your concerns of not wanting to get dis-charged but realize that you will have to deal with the pain and you can possible make it worst being on active duty.
