Well, after spending 3 splendid years at Minot, I finally got orders. It took applying for BOP as a first term and reenlisting to get them, but it happened. Security Forces is my job and I spent the majority of my time providing security for missile maintenance personnel while they work on the bombs, getting sh*t on after people screw up nuclear inspections, and finally off base nuclear convoy operations.

I know McChord is an AMC so I assume flightline security and LE is the main focus of SF there. I'm looking to hear from people currently stationed at McChord as to what I should expect coming over. (Deployment rates, pros and cons of available jobs, etc.) I grew up about 40 minutes NW of the base so I know the area pretty well. I'm looking more job-specific. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm an A1C with M4, 203, and 240 certs if that makes any difference... Thanks in advance.
