I have been looking at probably hundreds of online job (work from home)and it always seems to come back to the same issue "how do you verify it is a valid offer or not?"

I am fairly knowledgeable about the internet, etc. But, it seems really hard to find some way to verify these job offers. Just not the same as calling the BBB and asking for a report or anything like that.

Example, there are numerous sites offering "data entry" or "paid surveys" etc. But once you try to verify through a third party how ligitamite the company or offer is - it just seems there is no where to go.

I am not trying to make a million dollars. I have a decent job. I would just like to make an extra few hundred dollars each month working at "my" convenience from home. That is, without having to pay huge recurring monthly charges for web sites, maintaining large inventories, etc.

Any info as to how a person can verify an online job offer/business would be greatly appreciated. Any info about ligitamite online job offers would also be appreciated.

I tried one of those sites. My girlfriend told me that her friend did one of those work from home thing. Then I received a bunch of junk mail delivered to me. Most of them ask me to send a check in the amount of XX amount so that I can get started.

Yeah, right! Don't do it.....

There's another one that says "the post office is hiring" and says average pay is $20 an hour, then says there's a fee to come take a test. It's BS. Go direct to USPS dot com, somewhere on their site they list all open jobs in your area.
I've just always assumed that all of those "work from home" deals are garbage. It might be selling amway, or something, but still probably a scam of sorts, you'll never make as much as they say.
