I was wondering when the interview was conducted. Last November marked the 90th anniversary of the end of WWI. 1968 was the 50th. My grandfather was a Marine who served. Saw combat. He passed away in 1967.

I grew up with a WWI veteran. He was my father. He never got to Europe but he was in for three years. Was all over the country or I should say ,,The states. If only I had been as smart as I thought I was. I grew up around WWI & WWI Veterans. The stories they told me would fill volumes.
