I am headed to AIT/Technical Training at Gulfport, MS Naval Base. Does anyone know the regulations on taking my POV?

If you are prior service, by all means, drive there. There's a lot do see and do in the area and a car makes it a lot easier. If you are fresh out of basic, you'll have to wait until you've been there and are out of phase 1, then you can have it brought to you with permission.
