hey guys. i am looking into ROTC and joining the guard. the college i am planning to attend is about and hour and a half away but the unit i want to join(mech inf) is in my hometown. if i do SMP during ROTC should i do it with the unit i want to join, OR the unit near the college(engineering unit)? can i SMP w/ a unit i will not be branching with? help please.
