i went took the asvab and got a 60 then i took the physical and passed but i told them i smoked 50 times and now the recurter says i cant join shold i try a differnt branch or should i wait the hundred days

I would just give it up,the military right now has too many GOOD people wanting to join,and the National Guard is no differant....Please dont waste anyone's time with being stupid...OK

If you go in and then get caught smoking "weed", you will really regret it. Save us all the paperwork and get cleaned up for a couple years then rethink your decision.

We all ready have people like this in the guard......There the one's walking aroud drinking a gallon of water..

Seems to me like you just answered your own question.

If you went through all the trouble of a physical and moral screening and were honest about your past drug use and were told either to wait or it was a no go, there is no getting around it.

The end strength of the Army is rising and it is possible that not alot of moral waivers are going to be granted for the forseeable future.

Take it up with your recruiter.
