A buddy of mine and i plan on going to BCT together for the National Guard, so does that mean that if our unit gets deployed we both get deployed together? The reason i asked is because our girlfriends are the best of friends and they will be able to support and relate to each other.

You can ask your recruiter for that. From what I understand in a lot of cases you are assigned to a unit in the National Guard before you are sent to BCT. So you should be able to find out what the specific unit needs are in your area and if it is possible to assign you both to the same unit.

go to the same recruiter. my buddy and i did, and we drill together. when you sign your contract at meps it should say your unit. also i think deployments are around 15 months.
