Hi My son is at basic training right now at Fort Lenard wood Mo. He left on Aug. 16. Does anyone know when his 1st pay check will be deposited into his account and approx. how much will it be and how often does he get paid I'm just trying to manage his accounts and make his payments while he is gone.

Don't be surprised if the first paycheck takes a few weeks to hit his account; it can take a little while to get everything processed in the military pay system. After that, however, he'll be paid twice a month. I'm not sure what his exact paycheck will be, since that depends on what rank he is, plus if he has any deductions, etc., but you can get a rough idea by looking at the pay tables (they're posted here on military.com somewhere).
