At a briefing a few weeks ago during drill, our company retention NCO was discussing a possible move from congress to grant FREE medical for all guardsmen.

Anybody have anymore info on this? Thanks!

yeah, you can get it, it cost money when you arent activated. i think 268 a month....I am getting a better deal thru blue cross&n shield

That link just tells you how to enroll in the program. It isn't really specific on how it is different. Is it going to be cheaper, or are there more beenfits?

It's actually $253 a month for a family and the same as tricare extra and standard.
