Is the Army National Guard accepting GED holders at this time? I scored a 51 on the ASVAB and received my GED in April 2003 and enlisted in the Air Force Reserves in March 2009, however, there is an issue obtaining my security clearance and I may not be able to persue a career in the Air Force. I am determined to serve my country regardless of the branch and I know that there are many jobs in the Guard that do not require a security clearance, but my concern is, as I stated before, having a GED. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!

Your GED is not an issue if you want to enlist in the Army National Guard. However, the issue very well might be why you can't be granted a security clearance. You should contact the local ARNG Recruiter to determine eligibility, MOS availability and complete a DD Form 368 to initiate the enlistment process.
