I am considering joining the Massachusetts National Guard. The only complication I can see is that I didn't file my state taxes from last year. It's not that I was neglecting them but I was unable to pay them until the near future. If they are paid, will this be an issue. My recruiter told me not to worry about it, but I just wanted to hear some input from other sources.
