This may sound completely ignorant and I'm sorry if it’s already been answered but is there any initial uniform costs associated with joining the ANG. I've read about people drilling pre Basic training in uniform did they have to buy it?
If so what should we expect to pay?
I should be signing a contract soon.

You will be given all your uniforms. "When" is another issue.

You will not buy your own uniforms and you will not be wearing them before basic. You have to earn that right during BMT. Good luck.

I thought ANG had to do drill be for basic?

You will be issued uniforms as stated before not sure when but it should be at your first RSP drill (Recruit Sustainment Program) where you will learn what will happen at basic and learn some of the skills you will need in basic training good luck
