I'm in the national guard and i just finished my six year contract and now all i have left is to finish my 2 yrs of ir. Im trying to go active navy and have been speaking to a recruiter who had me fill out a conditional release and she sent it off to get signed. Now its 3 months later and still no word. I talked to my unit and they said i also have to have a dd4187, a recruiters buisness card and a letter stating why i want to go active duty. I feel like im getting the runaround and im currently unemployed so money is getting thin. If somebody could let me know exactly what needs to be done so i can expediate this situation it would be greatly appreciated

You should put this up in the Navy Recruiting forum. You'll get better info over there as you are no longer under the control of the NG/state.
