I just enlisted yesterday as a 68W, Im going to Ft Sill, OK 20100119. I enlisted as an E-2, but I'm trying to enroll in the CASP program because I'm already a NREMT-B. This didnt happen while signing my contract, should I be worried, any insight?

You should have been enlisted under the CASP Enlistment Option "if" you met all qualifications to approved for a CASP enlistment. If you're already certified as a NREMT-B, then you've met one criteria to become 68W qualified. What is you're "worried" about exactly?? Initial qualification in 68W or?? Be sure to have your NREMT-B certification with you when you report to Fort Sam Houston after Basic Training.

Page 101 of ARNG FY-07 Enlistment Criteria (the current guidance) indicates applicants nationally registered as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) "B", "I", or "P" will enlist as E4/SPC. Also will be accelerated to 7th week of 68W AIT. Good luck; cul8r.
