Are non active duty national guard members able to purchase a Tricare health plan? I have read different responses on forums and the Tricare web site. I was under the impression that a non activated national guard members that had no medical insurance could purchase a the Tricare family plan for $253 a month. Thanks
Yes that is correct you can purchase it it is call tricare reserve select and I do thing in Aug it will go down to $100 dollars a month for a family I saw the new pamplet's on it they sent it to our R&R office just not exactly sure of the date the coverge is tricare Standard.
