To get the 18x contract you must not have any medical waivers. I had an ingunal hernia (also called a sport hernia) when I was very young and had surgery to fix it. This means I cannot get an 18x contract and would have to enlist, then hope for a chance to try out. Does the guard REP63 follow the same requierment?

Thanks,
Alex

REP 63 is nothing more than the Guard's version of the DEP program. It has nothing to do with MOS choices.

Depends on the supporting documents which you submit with your waiver.

I enlisted into the NG as a SF REP-63 after being granted a waiver for knee surgery. I didnt have any problems when I was at MEPS but that was 5 years ago
