Hey I'm prior service 13F and I'm thinking of joining the CA ARNG. What are my chances of being deployed to OIF OEF in the next couple of years. I'd like to go on one of those deployments. I really am not interested in Kosovo, did that in 98. I'd be willing to volunteer, are there usually slots open? Also before I join is there any way I can get a deployment schedule of local units in my area in Riverside CA?
go on GKO its the guards version of ako. they will have a list you can sign up to volunteer for deployments. ive seen people leave with other units out of state to. then when you get back you go back to your orignal unit
