okay guys. I am planning to do ROTC and hopefully branch engineering. There are several units in my state. If i get engineering, will i just get put in what ever unit that needs a new lieutenant? just asking because there are several battalions within one large briagde.

Which one is closer to you? I would got to that unit and talk to them. I am an OCS Grad, so I don't know much about ROTC, but when I was a Platoon Leader at a NG Unit in Washington, there was a ROTC Cadet that pretty much followed me around. Go to the closest units (2 or 3 or them) and start talking to them directly.
