Has the title says I am looking for a good CPL and below rank reduction memo. Not going the Article 15 route since the Guard does not do this the same way has AD. Just looking for a 1 rank admin drop. I'm working the 4187, backup docs now and if any one could help with an example let me know.

Unit level reduction order. Get with your S1 they should have the format. Signed by unit CDR. AR 600-8-19 is your ref.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Funny thing is since the Unit is deployed I am the S1 rep slash BCC (current duty) so I am trying to learn a lot. I have been reading the regs, but just felt like I could post on here to get a nice example to save.

Reason were doing it this way and not a Article 15 is b/c the Guard (PA any way) does not do court marshals. If we give the Soldier an Article 15 and he requests a trial that's where it stop. Nothing further will come of it and nothing will happen to him.
