I am currently on Title 32 orders and have been looking for answers and am not able to find what I'm looking for, so I'm hoping someone here can help a fellow soldier out. I'm currently an E-4 with the Army National Guard and I have been tring to figure out how to get promoted to E-5; I have read regulation after regulation and nothing is mentioned about ADSW's getting promoted. I really hope someone can help me out or at least point me in the right direction. I enjoy what I do, but I don't want to retire as an E-4.

Well since I was in that same position I can tell you first you have to make sure your promotable check with your unit and see when your EPS board comes out than make sure you get your 4100 and check to make sure you have all your points and being on adsw doesn't matter you get promoted in your dmos and usally is the top person they offer the position to so also check what slot your in to make sure it is a E-5 slot.
