Quick question. SO it ANG in MA is offering a $20,000 sining bonus. But there is also a $20,000 loan repayment for student loans. But there was a piece of paper my recruiter gave me that had the lenths of service and benifits. In small print at the bottom it said that you cannot have a signing bu=onus and loan repayment. Its one or the other.
When i asked her about it she said that was not true and that she had recruited people that got both. Can anyone verify this one way or the other?

I'm in the Oklahoma NG and got both the $20,000 bonus and the Student Loan repayment. Now not all Mos's get the full bonus and you also have to do the full 6 year enlistment to get the full bonus. I also signed as a 68w
1 - How are you doing on your weight loss? 2 - Don't think of the $20,000 as a signing bonus. Saturday has it right; although you may be paid the bonus upfront, you must complete the full 6 years in order to earn all of it. Amounts paid but not earned (you do not complete 6 years) will be collected thru your Fed tax refunds. 3 - The rules for combining bonuses/incentives can vary every few months (depends on how much a skill is needed or how hard it is to fill a unit). The only way to verify what the rules are now is to read the current rules (they shouldn't be more than 1 year old).
