Hey,

My original plan was to start the enlistment process for the army guard in August and hopefully be able to ship out before my 35th birthday in April 2010. However,we just found out my active duty husband will be deployed in January, he will only be gone for nine months but, I would obviously have turned 35 by the time he gets back. We have four kids so I didn't want both of us to be gone at the same time. Do you all think there is any possibility of an age waiver for me? Being an army wife and all I should get special treatment right, HaHa

Thanks

Not until the National Guard's endstrength goes below it's authorized level. And even then NGB may try to get by without allowing age waivers. Good luck; cul8r.
