I'm starting BCT at Fort Benning on May 8th and I'm really excited. Just wondering about how hard it will be. I'm expecting that it will be pretty intense because I've talked to a lot of guys who say it's the hardest place to do basic. The thing is, those guys were all 11B's. Will it still be as strict/tough for other MOS's? I'm not worried about anything, I'm killing the PT tests at RSP, and I know all my stuff, I'm just wondering if I'll get a bunch of crap from the Benning DS's for taking a "sissy" Field Artillery job, or if you're treated the same as the Infantrymen?

MOS should be immaterial at basic even at Benning. Its all about accomplishing the training and graduating to move out to AIT. You only have to tell DS's what they ask or demand you to tell them. Don't try to standout like sore thumb it attracts unwanted attention sometimes. You'll see Wink.
