I'm a wildland firefighter with the US Forest Service and I'm interested in going on some PT hikes with a National Guard Unit. I know they PT hardcore and it's right up my alley anyway. Would I be able to go train with them if I'm not in the National Guard but am still a federal employee?

Hit up whoever is in charge and you may get to tag along with them. Most guys wouldnt mind at all, as long as you werent playing 20 questions about every little thing along the way. I know a great way to be able to go along with them.......talk to them about enlisting and then you would for sure get to go along...
