Im in the army guard, and i switched states to deploy to iraq in september. RIght now im mobilized and training to head over there. Heres my problem i need out of this deployment. I just got back from my last iraq deployment in october, and i made a irrational decision to go back, my head just isnt in the right place. I need help on how to get out of this deployment! My ets is next month, but that wont help since im stop lossed. Please help me, im not a *****, ive already deployed, and id be willing to go again down the line, but just right now, i need more time before going back. PLease help.
Of course, you know, you're going to get a lot of crap for what you're doing, but if you are really having an issue that is keeping you from focusing on your tasks, you can become a liability to your buddies. In such case, you owe it to whatever unit you are ordered to deploy with to speak to your command chain and your unit's chaplain, if necessary, to resolve this before MOB, if possible.
