I'm prior service,Coast Guard, and looking to join the Hawaii Army National Guard. I am interested in MOS 88K-Watercraft Operator. Any one knows if this MOSis available in Hawaii.
If so,what unit and how many slots? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Aloha

It's called contacting a recruiter in Hawaii which would be your best bet good luck.

AL, MS, and PR are the only states with 88k, BM does convert to 88K, in VA we do have watercraft but they are operated by 21B's

If I remember corectly this unit in Hawaii belongs to Army Reserve and it is located at Hickam AFB. The unit's CO is a warrant officer and a former costie.. It is called --- Tranportation Det. Sorry don't remember the actual number of that detachment. You can google it under "Army Watercraft Hawaii."

Florida, too. There's a Transportation Unit here that has 88Ks. Warrant Officers, too.

Any 88k in Washington State ?
